As the founder of Perfecting Community Full Gospel Baptist Ministry, we believe in empowering and rebuilding communities.  One of our areas of concern is community outreach.  This ministry is designed to assist in restoring the rich culture of our people.  The Community Change Agent ministry is a sub-category in Perfecting Community Ministry that assists in restoring urban and Native American communities.

We aim to motivate women and girls to become actively involved in the regeneration of our authentic culture, in our communities, and empower them to teach others to do the same.  This project originally focused on developing Pan African community change agents in the Herndon, Virginia area, but expanded to the Ashburn, Virginia area.

The first of four workshops were held on June 22, 2019.  The first Women In Ministry Conference was held on October 18th and October 19th of 2019.  Additional event information is available under the "Events" heading.  There is also a "Converse" heading to join in on community conversations and debates.  Training covers historical material and identifying the authentic you, teaching of ancestral religious beliefs and cultural practices, business acumen, the importance of investing in one’s health and mental well-being, investing in one another, and building in unity.  Participants are taught to write their own narratives, defining their community and being community change agents, discussing Pan Africans’ contributions to America’s economic growth and how to redirect that positive impact to restore and build Pan African communities.

Practical application opportunities are available throughout the year.
